PLEASE READ OVER THIS TOS BEFORE COMMISSIONING MINIBOSS MASCOTS
ALL CUSTOMERS WILL BE HELD TO THESE TERMS
Thank you for your interest in MiniBoss Mascots!
Upon receiving your confirmation that you had been chosen for a commission slot, you will be required to pay a nonrefundable down payment to be added to my queue officially. All projects require a nonrefundable down payment of 30% of the total quoted price of the suit before being added to the commission queue.
I accept payment plans and will work one out with you personally upon acceptance. Failure to comply with the payment plan may result in your project being moved back in the queue, or removal from my queue. If you disappear and fail to pay your monthly payment, i will attempt to make contact, and if no response is given, you will be removed from the queue and refunded accordingly save for the nonrefundable down payment, and you will be blacklisted from any future openings. In the event that your slot is not paid off within an appropriate time frame, I reserve the ability to adjust your quoted price to match my current prices. If you are unable to pay on the given date for each month, you must contact me to inform me so we may possibly work out further action. Failure to do so risks cancellation of your project slot, with no refund of down payment.
The quoted price given to you is based on the design you have submitted and nothing else. If you wish to make design changes before your slot has begun, the price quoted is subject to change at my discretion, and I am allowed to reject design changes as it is different than what I had personally decided to take on. Once begun, no design changes may be made save for special cases agreed upon by the maker and customer.
If at any point you decide to cancel your slot with Miniboss Mascots before your slot had been worked on, all money except the nonrefundable down payment will be refunded through paypal, minus the amount taxed from the paypal business transaction. If you decide on a refund while your suit is being worked on, you will be refunded based on what portion of your project I have already completed to compensate for time taken. I will also be keeping what i have worked on and all materials purchased.
I will complete your project based on how much of it you have paid off and I will not complete and am allowed to not start it until it is fully paid off. I reserve the right to not start a project until it is completely paid off, or cease work on the slot until it is paid off if the amount paid is not equal to or more than the work already completed. If this happens to interfere with the suit being completed for a convention or set date that fault falls on the customer. If a delivery date for the costume is set, the invoice must be paid off at least 3 months away from that date to even have to possibility of completion.
The order of my queue is subject to change at any time based on amount paid off.
I work in the order of my queue, in most cases I will not change the order of my queue of paid off projects.
I cannot guarantee any deadlines, but I will do my best to meet a certain date of completion if it is possible. Rush fees may be included based on artist discretion.
Shipping costs will be determined after completion of the project and paid before sending your costume. It is entirely up to the customer to pay for shipping costs and insurance, and the costume will not be sent until it has been paid. I ship with USPS, if another shipping company is desired then let me know ahead of time. I will ship overseas and will require insurance to be included with the package.
Fullsuit slot holders are required to make and ship a duct tape dummy to be able to have any work completed on their bodysuit.
When creating a duct tape dummy, please use this tutorial as a guide to make it properly and please tape it back up before sending it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RonWr75R28Q (all credit goes to Mischief Makers)
If dtd's aren't either marked at the cut lines for easy reassembly, or taped up before being sent to me, an extra $25 will be charged to put it back together.
Duct tape dummies that are not up to quality shown in the video may be sent back or thrown away and asked be remade. Duct tape dummies must cover up to wrists and ankles, failure to do so may result in a poorly fitting bodysuit.
Those buying feetpaws must provide their own shoes or be charged for me to purchase it for them.
I send multiple work in progress pictures along the process of creating your suit, to ensure that the look and quality of your costume is to your standard. It is the responsibility of the customer to approve and suggest any changes to the project as soon as i provide the wip to them. Failure to mention any changes within a timely manner, resulting in extra work being created to fix any issues, will be met with fees to accommodate for added time and labor.
I currently work out of a house with cats and dogs and no way to close the cat off from my work space. It is up to the commissioner to determine if this will affect their allergies and if so what course of action should be taken to accommodate.
If a customer is under the age of 18, I require all payments to be made through a parent/guardian account, and for me to be in contact with said person. Failure to comply may result in automatic removal from my queue, permanent blacklisting from any future openings, and no refund of your nonrefundable down payment or any work completed by the time of cancellation. If the project hadn't begun at the time of termination, all money aside from the down payment will be refunded.
There is a 1 year warranty on your suit, you must pay shipping costs to and from me to have it repaired. Please inform me as soon as possible if any issues are discovered. If issues with the suit are determined to be intentionally caused, or a result of the buyer altering the suit I will refuse to make repairs and void the warranty.
